Central Pacific Bank Foundation Supports Hawaii Disaster Relief and Recovery
The Central Pacific Bank Foundation donated $20,000 to The Salvation Army to aid in services currently being deployed on Hawaiʻi Island in response to Kilauea’s volcanic eruptions, and also donated a total of $20,000 to the Hawaiʻi Red Cross in response to the Kauaʻi and East Oʻahu flooding.
“Our hearts are with all those impacted by the recent disasters across the state,” said Central Pacific Bank Foundation President, Denis Isono. “In times of need, we are reminded that the spirit of collaboration and support in Hawaiʻi is special and strong. We understand that there is more work that needs to be done and we want the community to know that the Central Pacific Bank ohana stands by them during this difficult time.”
Central Pacific Bank (CPB) announced its 35 branch locations will be accepting monetary donations to benefit Hawaiʻi disaster relief efforts. Monetary donations will be accepted through May 31, 2018 and will go toward The Salvation Army's emergency disaster services in Hawaiʻi, with the opportunity for customers to designate support of either Hawaiʻi Island or Kauaʻi relief and recovery efforts.
CPB also initiated its disaster relief loan program to extend financial assistance and access to cash, with considerations such as low interest rates. For more information and how to apply for the loan, visit your local CPB branch.
